What is Peroxide Value?

The peroxide value is defined as the amount of peroxide oxygen per 1 kilogram of fat or oil, and is expressed in units of milliequivalents (mEq).The peroxide value in the Ozologica line of cosmetics, ranges from 200-800 mEq, which means that it has an extremely high level of oxygen in the oil or cream, due to the ozonation of the sunflower oil during production.

The active ingredient (OzonVital®) is added in different levels in the various products according to the optimal formulation of their components, guaranteeing cosmological and antiseptic effects to the entire body. After contact with the biological tissues, ozonides are quickly released activating a series of positive effects, namely:

• High germicidal activity on fungi, yeasts, viruses and bacteria.
• Activation of local micro-circulation for the reduction of cellulite.
• Stimulation of granulation and tissue growth in wound or ulcers.
• Revitalisation of epithelial tissues.
